The Socioeconomic Footprint of the Coca-Cola System in Peru contributes to the creation of over 131,000 jobs in the country

In 2023, the Coca-Cola System contributed S/ 7,420 million to the Peruvian economy, according to a study by the international firm Steward Redqueen.
Additionally, for every direct job, the Coca-Cola System generated 26 indirect jobs in the country in the commerce and manufacturing sectors.
The Coca-Cola System officially presented the study at a private event with the participation of authorities, associations, media, and other special guests.
Lima, Peru, May 2025 – Coca-Cola and Inca Kola are beverages that have accompanied generations of Peruvians, evoking memories, emotions, and celebrations in every corner of the country. Behind this bond, there is a solid local operation with over 89 years of history, driven by a system inspired by the transformative strength of Peruvians to contribute to the dynamism of the local economy and a favorable socioeconomic footprint.
This is confirmed by the latest Socioeconomic Footprint Report, conducted by the consulting firm Steward Redqueen in collaboration with the Coca-Cola System (comprising Coca-Cola Peru and its bottling partner Arca Continental Lindley). The study reflects how different sectors have come together to contribute to the growth and development of the country and its communities.*
Suppliers, transporters, bottling partners, associates, and small Peruvian businesses form a chain of more than 131,000 people, of which 4,932 are direct and 126,200 are indirect. This means that for every direct job, 26 indirect jobs are generated related to some activity within the chain. This entire impact network is equivalent to filling the maximum capacity of the National Stadium of Peru more than three times, with each person playing an active role in the national economy and being part of a highly diversified value chain.
"The commitment of all the people who make up the Coca-Cola System goes beyond production: it is a constant drive for the development of Peru and its communities. From the associates in the plant to the shop owners who choose us every day, everyone is part of a chain that contributes to the country's economic growth. The operations, plants, and offices we have in Peru are a reflection of that shared commitment to make a positive, tangible, and lasting difference," says Abelardo Gudiño, President of Operations for Coca-Cola Peru and Ecuador.
Thus, along with the 331,000 clients of the traditional channel throughout the country, the Coca-Cola System has demonstrated that the commitment of this extensive value network has resulted in a contribution of S/ 7,420 million to the national economy, representing 0.7% of Peru's Gross Domestic Product (GDP); a result that shows how economic development is also driven locally, with allies in every corner of the country.
"We are a single system united by the world we want. Therefore, we have contributed to the country's economic development by providing formal and quality employment, contributing to the growth of the communities we serve, promoting the development of Peruvian shops, and also through innovations that have strengthened the local supply chain, significantly and sustainably impacting multiple sectors," said Enrique Pérez Barba, Executive Director of Beverages South America at Arca Continental.
With six production plants in the cities of Trujillo, Iquitos, Cuzco, Arequipa, and Lima (Zárate and Pucusana), Coca-Cola Peru and Arca Continental Lindley have maintained uninterrupted operations in Peru, supported by a solid and constantly evolving infrastructure. As reflected in the Socioeconomic Footprint Report, their value chain actively contributes to strengthening the local industry and the country's economic development, demonstrating that it is possible to build a more inclusive and sustainable Peru through joint work with Peruvians and for Peruvians.
