Iguazú, Argentina, June 10, 2021.-Arca Continental Argentina, in collaboration with the government of Iguazú, organizations in civil society, and The Coca-Cola Company installed recycling stations in four schools in Iguazú, Argentina.

During the virtual presentation of the project, in collaboration with the Department of the Environment in Iguazú, the company offered a course on the environment for 2,500 children to teach them about the importance of separating recyclable materials in their homes and schools.

These actions are part of Arca Continental’s recycling and packaging strategy and are aimed at contributing, in collaboration with The Coca-Cola Company, to the global collective goals to achieve a World Without Waste. These efforts include most notably the bottles made out of 100% recycled material in Mexico, Peru, and the United States; the leadership of PetStar, the largest food grade PET recycling plant in the world; and the inclusive recycling initiatives in Ecuador.

With this, Arca Continental reaffirms its commitment to promoting a circular economy model and to maintain collaborative bonds with organizations in civil society and authorities in every territory where it operates, all with the goal of contributing to preserving the environment.
