UNESCO recognizes PetStar for its leadership in recycling

  • - PetStar was selected as an official partner of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, UNESCO's campaign to highlight engineering achievements around the world.
  • - PetStar, with 30 years driving recycling, is led by Arca Continental, Coca-Cola Mexico and other Coca-Cola bottlers.

  • Monterrey, Mexico, March 13, 2025- PetStar's appointment as an official partner is part of a year-long global campaign that will include events, audiovisual productions, articles and news stories highlighting engineering achievements around the world, as well as promoting engineering as a career development option.

 

 

  • As an official partner, PetStar's expertise and experience will be a key part of this 12-month campaign that, under the slogan “Shaping our sustainable future through engineering,” seeks to raise awareness among governments, UN partner agencies, decision-makers, academics and leaders in the public and private sectors about the importance of engineering in achieving the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
