Arca Continental recognized for its self-generation energy project in Ecuador

Quito, September 2024. –Arca Continental Ecuador has been certified by Quito Electric Company (EEQ) for its self-generation project at the El Inca industrial plant. This initiative, which incorporates advanced technology and renewable energy sources, will allow the company to reduce its reliance on the conventional electrical grid at its beverage production plants located in Quito, Guayaquil, and Santo Domingo.
This project will generate 18 megawatts of energy to support the operations of the bottling plant nationwide. It ensures the continuous production and supply of products for over 220,000 retailers, who play a key role in Ecuador's economic growth and recovery. It also supports the jobs of more than 9,700 employees.
